But I knew good things had to end, so I pulled back.
“Thank you, Wendy. So much.” I said.
“You’re welcome to return any time, Vi. And please do…” Wendy gave me a peck on the cheek and pulled her legs back, freeing me to stand up.
I got up from the couch, my legs still unsure and hurting in a hundred different ways.
Brenda came into the room and made a beeline for me, bringing me in for a hug.
“Oh, Vi, I’m so glad you had such a wonderful time with us…”
“Wonderful doesn’t even begin to describe what I did with you and everyone else this weekend.” I said.
I heard the music from Yara’s car intensify, the not-so-subtle way she told me to get the hell out to her car whenever she came to pick me up.
“I guess that’s my ride…”
I slung my bag over my shoulder and looked down, glimpsing a silver glint amidst the colorful objects that filled my purse. I reached down and pulled the collar Brenda had given me and placed it around my neck, cinching it down an extra notch before smiling at Brenda and Wendy, the collar feeling tight but soft around my throat.
“Until next time…Mistresses,” I said with a smirk.
BONUS SHORT STORIES!
Introduction
Wow! That was hot, wasn’t it? I hope it was as fun for you to read as it was for me to write!
As a little thank you for checking out my first novel, I wanted to give you a little extra fun in the form of two short stories. They’re not related to The Mansion (but I have much more planned for Vi and Emma, don’t you worry!), but I thought they were just as fun and hot as the action in The Mansion.
I hope you enjoy them, and thank you again for reading my books!

When the train pulled out of the station and into the blinding morning light, that's when I first saw it. The familiar cover of the familiar book that had occupied my imagination for far longer than I thought it would. The book that confirmed for me that, yes, beyond a shadow of a doubt, I was absolutely a lesbian. I guess I had Nicole Marcel to thank for…maybe not my lesbian awakening, but at least my lesbian confirmation. If I hadn't read Selection three years ago, I probably would have still been that frustrated girl wondering why relationships with guys always felt so cold, and why I always found my gaze lingering on my female friends for longer than I should.
