Double the Trouble (2 Evolution Points): Each egg that Saba’a lays will hatch two spiders instead of one, and the maximum number of spider children Saba’a can have at any one time will be doubled.

Extra Chores for the Little Ones (2 Evolution Points): Saba’a’s spawn will perform basic tasks, chores, and crafting at a significantly faster speed.

Digging Their Own Grave (2 Evolution Points): Saba’a’s spawn will come with tiny drilling claws that will help them go through previously impenetrable surfaces.

Lucas wasn’t sure whether he should grab one of the new options or just leave them alone for the moment. Saba’a’s loyalty had risen from Contracted to Fervent as soon as he had selected it, and he saw that Saba’a was excitedly smacking her mandibles together while watching him.

“Thank you, master,” Saba’a said, happily bobbing her head, using her entire fat body to do it. “Thank you! Now, I won’t have to work anymore.”

“Right, right.” Lucas didn’t bother paying attention to her. Considering that she’d just as soon eat him as thank him if afforded the opportunity, he didn’t feel bad about ignoring her emotions. She might work for him now, but she still subsisted on the flesh of people.

He wanted to humor her again and keep her loyalty as high as possible by grabbing Lighter and Tighter, but the cost was too much. He only had two remaining Evolution Points at the moment, so he picked the only other option that would allow Saba’a to actually move around in the field instead: Large and in Charge. When he selected it, Saba’a shrieked in horror. A menu then opened up and revealed three more options for Lucas to select.

Leggy Women for Life (2 Evolution Points): Significantly increases the strength of Saba’a’s legs and increases length to a minor degree.

A Nice Jacket (2 Evolution Points): Creates a thicker, customizable colored exoskeleton layer for Saba’a.

Big Belly Betty (5 Evolution Points): Saba’a’s belly will drastically increase in size. During combat, Saba’a will be able to use the excess fat from her belly to heal herself instantly.

Note: Picking this option will drastically decrease Saba’a’s loyalty to you.

“Why?!” Saba’a shrieked again as her body started to grow, and her legs strengthened and widened along with her torso. “Why did you make me fatter?!” Despite the fact her main body had grown slightly, however, her legs had grown so much stronger that she was no longer dragging her belly across the floor but was instead able to support her weight. Lucas knew he had made the right decision. She was now an actual boss, capable of moving across the room and fighting players without having to rely on her minions and spider web attack.

He also noticed that her loyalty had dropped from Fervent to Enthusiastic. He wasn’t sure how many stages to loyalty there were, but he at least knew three of them: Contracted, Enthusiastic, and then Fervent.
