She threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. Happiness, pleasure and so much love filled her that she knew her heart couldn’t hold any more joy.

“I love you,” she murmured against his warm, sexy mouth. “A lot. And I have Belle. And I can move my business here, but I’ll have to go to Seattle every few weeks.”

“That works, because I do, too. We can carpool.”

She laughed, still hanging on to him. “That’s very environmentally conscious.”

“It is. Plus, I have extra space in my building if you want to set up your business there. Oh, and think about keeping your house in Seattle. You can rent it out. It would be a good investment for you. And we all love Belle.”

“She’ll be thrilled. She’s finally getting her boy. Oh.” She took a step back. “What about Harrison? Is he going to be okay with us getting involved?”

“Married,” he said firmly. “Not involved.”

Married! She had a little trouble thinking the word. Not because she didn’t want to, but because she hadn’t dared to dream that could ever happen with Toby. She’d thought she’d lost her chance with him, but she hadn’t.

“He’s on board. We had a man-to-man talk last night, and he thinks you’ll be a great mom and be good for us.”

For the second time that day, she was fighting tears. “That’s so sweet.”

“It is.” He pulled her into his arms again. “Now, what I really want to do is take you upstairs and make love to you for the next six hours, but we should go back to your parents’ reception instead.”

She sighed. “I really like that you respect my family. Thank you for that. But later tonight, my folks are driving to Whistler for a couple of days, so if you want to spend the night, you can.”

His slow, sexy smile had her thighs quivering. “I’d like that a lot.”

“Me, too.”

He put his arm around her. “Tell me about this fancy dinner.”

“Well, you have a choice of filet, lamb or salmon.” She grinned. “Unless you want the vegetarian option.”

“No, thank you. What else?”

“Dessert is a trio of a mini chocolate pot de crème, a chocolate cheesecake lollipop and a shot of Baileys Irish Cream in a chocolate cup. The kids get some chocolate drink in their cup.”

He led her to the door, where they both put on their coats.

“Sounds delicious.”

“It will be,” she said.

“But I’d rather be with you.”

She laughed. “I should hope so. I hate to think food is more important than sex.”

He drew her against him. “Reggie, you’re more important than anything. I will love you faithfully for as long as I draw breath.”

“You’re going to make me swoon.”

“For the rest of your life.”
