She grinned up at me, and it was like a punch to the gut. “Gotta do my bit for the IceCaps. Go Caps!” she teased.
I’d once asked my dad how long it took him to know Mom was the person he wanted to marry. She was a city girl who'd come to town to visit her college friend. He was a sixth-generation farmer. They shouldn’t have worked.
But he’d get this dumb, soft smile on his face and say, “Twenty minutes and thirty-eight seconds.” Turns out, he’d been at the bar watching a hockey game on the TV. She’d sat next to him right as the puck dropped, waiting for her friend to come and grab her to take her back to the family farm. They got to talking. By the time the players slid off the ice at the end of the first period, he knew he wanted to marry the girl beside him. And he did.
I never got tired of hearing that story as a kid, but I’d never been able to imagine just looking at a woman, someone who was barely more than a stranger, and just knowing they were the one. I thought I might get it now, though.
I kissed her softly, but my girl didn't want soft. She curled her whole body around mine and pulled me down, deepening the kiss. I held myself slightly off her so I didn’t crush the air from her lungs, but she was doing a great job of stealing my breath all the same.
And for the first time since I was seventeen, I kissed a girl and never wanted to stop. I kissed her over and over until we were both breathing heavily and her lips were swollen and her eyes were hooded and I wanted to do nothing else but kiss her just one more time.
“Baby,” I breathed, pulling away so I could look down at her, her hair mussed from where I’d had it wrapped in my fist. “God, you’re so fucking beautiful.”
She was tugging at my shirt, her hands running over my chest and back. “God, how are you this hard? There’s like zero body fat on you. What happens if you get marooned on a desert island? How will you survive?”
“Guess I’ll just have to find something to eat?” I teased back. Weirdest foreplay conversation ever, and I kind of loved it. I pushed her shirt up, dragging down the cup of her bra until I could take her nipple in my mouth. Sucking it with increasing pressure, I felt her writhe against me.
Hooray for boobies.
She reached down and gripped my hair. “Are you going to be mine tonight, Rigby? Are you going to be good for me, and give me your cock just how I like it?”
“Yes,” I hissed, my dick suddenly painfully hard.
