Cindy Cipriano lives in North Carolina with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and some pretty mixed-up pets. She has two dogs that think they are children and three cats that think they are raccoons. When Cindy isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time with family and the avoidance of cooking.

Fading is the first in a four-book series published by Clean Teen Publishing. The series follows seventeen-year-old Leath Elliott as she navigates the murky waters of balancing longtime best-friend-turned-possible-boyfriend Victor, and the new boy in town James, who may literally be the boy of her dreams. If that wasn’t enough for one person to handle, Leath also struggles with the fact that even the best of dreams may sometimes take nightmarish turns.

Cindy’s Miller’s Island Mysteries series (Vulpine Press) is described as innovative in blending science and fantasy. Eighth graders Jack and Grace travel through time solving mysterious science events. Miller’s Island Mysteries #1 The Case of the Toxic River (2017) and #2 The Case of the Mysterious Future (2018) are already in print. Look for books #3 and #4 in this eleven-book series in 2018.

Her award-winning novel The Circle (2013), is the first in her middle-grade fantasy series published by Odyssey Books. The Circle won the 2014 Moonbeam Children’s Book Silver Award for Pre-Teen Fiction – Fantasy. Other titles in the series include The Choice (2015) and The Lost (2017). The series follows Calum, Laurel, and Hagen from middle through high school as they first rescue Calum’s kidnapped cousin, then save the Otherworld from dark Sidhe.

Cindy’s academic publication Level Up Intrinsic Motivation in published in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Leadership. She also has two short stories included in a children’s anthology, Doorway to Adventure.
