  29. Meet Melissa

“See that table of women looking over here?” She motioned toward the back of the bar, where three attractive women were watching them. “They think you’re hot. They wanted to know if you were single.” She lowered her voice. “I think I know how you feel when guys hit on me. So I told them you were married…to a guy.”

“What the hell, Trace?”

She laughed. “I’m kidding.”

He looked over at the women, lifting his chin in acknowledgment of their appreciative glances. Their smiles widened.

Tracey scowled as he strode out from behind the bar. “You’d get pissed if I did that.”

He hauled her into his arms and kissed the hell out of her. “Shut that shit down from now on. I said I’m yours. Fucking own it.”

“I think you just did. You can’t kiss me like that in front of customers.”

“The hell I can’t.” He looked at Dixie, who chuckled.

“I may not get fired, but my tips will suck.”

He leaned down, speaking directly in her ear. “There’ll definitely be sucking going on tonight, but there’ll be a hell of a lot more involved than just the tip.” He kept her close, aroused at the thought of her mouth on him.

Heat flamed in her eyes. “How am I supposed to work the rest of my shift with that in my head?”

“The same way I’m going to while picturing you on that bar, your pretty little skirt pushed up around your thighs and my mouth between your legs.” He squeezed her ass. “You got an order to place, baby girl?”

She blinked several times, crimson staining her cheeks. “Um, yeah. Two bottles of Coors and a fresh pair of panties, please.”

Thoughts of what he’d described burned into his mind for the rest of the night. Tracey’s flirtatious taunts, which often were followed up by bashful blushing, amped up his desire. By the time they closed the bar and Dixie and Moon headed out, Diesel was consumed with desire. He was locking the front door when Tracey came out of the back room carrying her purse.

“Where do you think you’re going?” He closed the distance between them.

She lifted one shoulder. “Home? I wasn’t sure if you really wanted to see me tonight, or if you were just playing around.”

“Fuck that. You’re mine, Trace. You damn well know I want you in my bed every night.”

Her eyes widened. “Every night?”

“Hell yes, and you’re going riding with me Sunday.”

She set her purse on the bar and slid her finger into his belt loop, looking up at him seductively. “A girl likes to be asked if she’s free, not told where she’s going.”
