- Meet Melissa
He leaned over, boxing her in with one hand on the table, the other on the back of her chair, bringing his delicious lips a breath away from hers. His heated gaze moved down her face, to the exposed swell of her breasts, then slowly trailed back up, taking in the shirtsleeves pushed up to her elbows. “I’m going to have to iron that again.”
“Oopsie.” She tugged one end of his tie, sliding it off from around his neck, and wrapped it around his waist, using the two ends to tug him closer. “Maybe I can make it up to you.”
His eyes darkened, and a growl rumbled up his throat, causing her nipples to pebble. He brushed his lips over hers. “We’re going to be late.”
“Not if we’re fast.”
She rose up to kiss him, and he scooped her off the chair, ravaging her as he carried her into the bedroom and loved her senseless. They showered and dressed quickly. Tracey straightened his tie, her breath catching at how utterly gorgeous he looked.
“You keep looking at me like that, and we’re going to miss the wedding.”
She felt her cheeks heat up. “I can’t help it if you look hot.”
He grabbed her butt, hauling her in for a toe-curling kiss. “Not half as hot as you. But we’re going to be late if we don’t get a move on.” He turned her around to zip her dress, placing several kisses along her spine before pulling up the zipper, sending shivers of heat coursing through her again. He turned her in his arms, eyes serious. “Don’t even think about dancing with Rhys.”
“Don’t tell me what to do.” She giggled and kissed him. “He’s not even going to be there. Besides, there’s no room on my dance card. It’s got your name in every slot.”
“Damn right it does. Let’s go.”
“I just have to find my earrings.”
“Better hurry, sparky. I’ll go start the truck.”
As he left the bedroom, she called after him, “Grab their gift!” She put on earrings and the pretty diamond infinity necklace Diesel had given her for Christmas. Biggs and Red always invited everyone over for Christmas Eve, and this year they’d invited Tracey’s family, too. Diesel and Tracey had left a few days later to celebrate New Year’s with his family at the ranch in Colorado. It turned out they were very much like Biggs and Red, and they celebrated with everyone on the ranch. Tracey had gotten close with Sasha, Birdie, and Simone, and it was hilarious watching Simone try to avoid Cowboy, while Birdie did everything she could to make it impossible, and in turn, Sasha did everything she could to help Simone by foiling Birdie’s attempts.
