He pulled her onto his lap, eyes stern as he pressed his hand to her cheek, brushing his thumb over her lips. “I said, you’re my home, Tracey. Where you go, I go. Your mother is back East. The people who became your family—and mine—are back there, too. The life you built is in Maryland. The life we’re building together is there. There’s plenty of time to come back and visit here, but your dreams of helping other women have already started there. You’ve got a foothold, and you’re on your way to the top. I want to climb that mountain with you, baby. I already spoke to Lior about it, and he’s all in, if and when you’re ready.”

Tracey could hardly process all he’d said, and he must have seen how overwhelmed she was, because he said, “You don’t think I’d forgotten about your dreams, do you?”

Her heart skipped. “You’d teach with me?”

“I’d do anything and everything with you.” Holding her gaze, he pushed his hand into her hair, those dark eyes turning wicked and seductive, sending shivers of heat searing through her core before he even said a word. “And I do mean everything.”

As he sealed his mouth over hers, Birdie hollered, “Get a room!” causing laughter and teasing.

“Y’all are right. Enough of this family stuff. I’m taking my girl home.” Diesel pushed to his feet, pulling Tracey up with him, and threw her over his shoulder. Everyone whooped and hollered as she shrieked, and Diesel blazed a path toward the motorcycle.

“Attaboy! Do it like a Whiskey!” Dare hollered.

“The guitar!” Sasha shouted.

Diesel didn’t slow down. “She won’t be needing it tonight!”

“Diesel!” Tracey laughed. “They did all this for you!”

He lowered her to her feet, grinning like a lovesick fool, and wow, that was a great look on him. “That’s great, sweet thing, but I’m ready to do you. So either get your pretty little ass on that bike, or I’ll strip you naked and bend you over it right here and now.”

“You wouldn’t dare with everyone watching.”

A wolfish grin appeared on his handsome face. “You’re right, but there are no neighbors at my cabin.”

Thrills bubbled up inside her. “Now, that’s an idea I’d like you to get behind.”
