Sophia’s muscles gave one more lurch and then went slack along with the pressure on her back, but instead of using the natural resting place, Vic merely used the opportunity to reorient herself. Easing back only far enough to replace her mouth with her hands, she stared up at Sophia’s lavish body in all its prone glory. Then she pushed slowly inside and warmth enveloped her.

Easing forward, she slid the length of her body along the woman beneath her. She groaned at the pure, hedonistic gratification of bare breasts pressed flush against her own. Her hips began to rock as they settled between the thighs she’d kissed and caressed.

Wordlessly they picked up a slow rotation. Up and down, in and out, breath, hands, chests. Her pleasure came in giving, and a sense of strength surged in her as she stared down at Sophia. She had the most expressive features. Her brows would furrow with each withdrawal and then relax on every return. Her lips, slightly swollen, parted softly with laboured breathing. Her eyes, darker for their expanded pupils, served as reflecting pools, allowing Vic to see her own desire shining back up at her.

Their movements picked up speed as Sophia tightened around her, but she refused to break their combined gaze. Vic pressed her forehead to Sophia’s, anchoring them to each other for as long as possible. Sophia threw back her head, exposing herself in one final way for Victoria to seize, and she did, dropping her mouth to the pulse point in her neck. She kissed and sucked as she rode the disintegrating rhythm between them, until the body beneath her collapsed, spent and languid.

Even then Victoria took her time on the withdrawal, more for her own benefit than Sophia’s. If she were being honest, and she saw no reason not to be, the entirety of this experience had likely benefitted her infinitely more than Sophia. Despite the fact that only one of them had been reduced to mush, Vic suspected the emotional aspects of laying claim to those physical desires would have a much more expansive effect on her mental state. She already felt different, more powerful, more confident, more . . . everything.

“Wow,” Sophia murmured.

“Wow?” She eased back only enough to look down at the mirth beginning to curl that beautiful mouth once more.

“I suspected there was something more to the lady-in-waiting demeanour you had working for you, but honestly, I had no idea all of that existed underneath your polite veneer.” Sophia gave her hips a little thrust, but not hard enough to unseat Vic from atop her. “You’ve been holding out on me.”

Vic smiled, only a hint of sadness poking through her new confidence. “I’ve been holding out on me, too.”
