Sophia worked one hand into Vic’s hair, using steady pressure on the back of her neck to urge her down, but she resisted. Breaking the kiss, she thrilled at the little whimper that escaped Sophia.
“Don’t tease.”
Vic smiled down at her. “It would only be fair after everything you’ve put me through, but clearly I have neither the inclination nor the fortitude to withhold anything from you.”
Then taking her hand, she interlocked their fingers even as she scooted farther away.
“Wait.” Sophia laughed. “What happened to not teasing? Get your body back here.”
“No.” Vic eased down the bed as far as their joined hands would allow. “I want the first thing you feel against you to be my mouth.”
Sophia sucked in another sharp breath, and this time Vic suspected it had nothing to do with the cold.
Leaning lower once more, she kissed a path up Sophia’s left leg. Slowly, steadily she worked her way upward with varied strokes of her lips and tongue, until reaching the apex. She paused, partially in wonder and partially out of a desire to make this exquisiteness last. Sophia seemingly had no such sentimentality. Relaxing her fingers from Vic’s hands, she eased it back into her hair and lifted her hips in a seductive circle. The movement was enough to utterly undo Vic. She bowed, not to the pressure, but to the unstated request. She wanted to meet Sophia’s needs as much as her own. The two were as intertwined as their bodies.
She wasn’t sure which one of them moaned as she closed her mouth around the centre of Sophia’s need. Either way, they moved in concert, the hand on the back of her head encouraging rather than pushing, not that she needed further inspiration. The response of Sophia’s body tugged at her core, rising and falling, writhing, yielding, and surging to meet her once more.
She couldn’t remember the last time she’d done something she desperately desired and managed to do so well, but judging from the sounds coming from Sophia, she was doing this very well. The realisation only amplified her own arousal. She had reduced a woman to pure, primal incoherence, and not just any woman, a sharp, stunning powerhouse who didn’t take anything less than what she desired from any given interaction. And tonight, she desired her.
Vic’s stomach clenched as Sophia called out and clutched her shoulder. Long, strong, fingers dug into the muscles on her upper back. The clawing of Sophia’s nails matched the piercing sensations ripping Vic apart. She needed more in a way that would’ve frightened her if she’d had her wits about her, but Sophia’s body twisting underneath her turned her world upside down until logic seemed a folly, and abandon posed the most perfectly reasonable option.
