  30. About the Author

“Hang on.” Olivia dug her phone out of her pocket, Sadie leaning forward eagerly as she flipped through her camera roll. She found the photo she wanted almost immediately, because she’d just taken it Sunday morning. Cade had gotten up early, and she’d come downstairs to find him in the kitchen, sipping a cup of coffee and reading the news on his tablet in nothing but a pair of gray sweats. She’d been struck silent for a moment, and when she’d gotten her voice back the first thing she’d said was “Can I take your picture?” He’d looked startled for a moment, then he’d given her that slow, sexy smile and risen from his stool to pose for her.

She looked at the photo for a moment, all golden skin and thick muscles and the gray sweats that rode low on his hips and left almost nothing to the imagination. Then she passed her phone to Sadie.

“Ho-lee shit,” Sadie breathed, staring at the screen. When she finally lifted her head, there was admiration and a touch of jealousy in her eyes. “You lucky bitch.”

“God, look at that smile.” Amanda crowded up to Sadie to look at the screen. “And the bedhead. Damn.”

“I know,” Olivia sighed dreamily. “Right after I took that picture, I jumped him.”

“I don’t blame you,” Amanda said reverently.

“Oh, the smile.” Sadie’s eyes narrowed on the screen. “Shit. I would’ve jumped him twice.”

“I remember that smile,” Rebecca said when she took the phone.

“And the dick,” Sadie quipped, ducking when Rebecca reached across the table to swat at her head. “What? It’s true.”

“Don’t make it weird,” Rebecca admonished, handing the phone back to Olivia.

“You’re the one who banged her man.” Sadie grinned and ducked again.

“He wasn’t mine when she banged him,” Olivia pointed out with a laugh, and tucked her phone away. “Besides, her boyfriend’s name is on my boyfriend’s list of potential group sex partners. Talk about weird.”

“You finalized your list, then?” Amanda asked.

“Oooh, who made the cut?” Sadie wanted to know.

“Nick and James,” Olivia said, “but as previously stated, I’ll cross them off if you’re not okay with it.”

“Not your responsibility, remember?” Amanda said.

“Just putting it out there.”

“What did you decide about Jack?” Sadie asked.

“I left him on the list, which might have been a huge mistake. Sadists scare me.”

“Yeah, but you like to be scared,” Sadie pointed out, and grinned when Olivia wrinkled her nose. “When is this big group sex thing going to take place?”

“I have no idea. That part, thank God, isn’t up to me. But he asked me to email him the list by tonight.”

“Is he out of town again?”

“Yes.”

“Oh my God, you look like your puppy died,” Sadie said with a laugh.
