John pressed his lips to Zack’s ear and growled, “God, I want you.” He was leaning on the wall, an elbow on either side of Zack’s head, caging him in. It was just the right amount of aggression, and the hungry look in his eyes made Zack breathless. Zack craned his neck to get a look at John’s body. His suit jacket was unbuttoned, and his pose made his shirt ride up, exposing his waist at the sides. Zack slid his hands around John’s hips and pushed his shirt up more. His fingers found smooth skin and stroked it reverently.

John moaned in response. Zack would have sworn the sound buzzed throughout his entire body.

He let his head fall back against the cool brick. This was going to be the death of him. They’d skipped dessert, opting to get out of the restaurant before they tackled each other. They’d barely managed to stumble out the door in the general direction of John’s car before their self-control snapped. At least John had thought to get them off the street and into the partial cover of an alley. Zack knew they should have the decency not to make out in public like a couple of horny teenagers, but he was half-drunk with arousal, and John felt wonderful against him.

“Part of me thinks this is a dream,” John murmured. “I thought about having you like this so many times . . . it’s hard to believe it’s actually happening.”

Zack brought his lips within a hair’s breadth of John’s. Just as he felt the first warm sweep of John’s tongue, he pulled back, smirking. His blood was rushing through him, urging him to take the man already, but the temptation to tease was too great for him to resist.

“Want me to prove I’m real?” he asked.

“Please do,” John drawled.

“How would you like me to prove it?” He raked his nails lightly down John’s back. “Tell me.”

John drew a shuddering breath, looked Zack in the eye, and said, “Kiss me.”

Zack didn’t need to be told twice.

He grabbed John’s face and crushed their lips together. He wanted it to be good—it was their first kiss, after all—but the second their lips touched, he knew he couldn’t hold back. It was eager and uncoordinated, with too much pressure and virtually no skill, but it was somehow the best kiss of Zack’s life.

John melted against him. He still had Zack pinned, pressing them hard together. Zack imagined this was what it would feel like to have John on top of him, and the thought made him giddy.
