I pushed myself into another spin, the breeze from my movement making my hair flap. “Can I play with your ass?”
Asher didn’t answer. I completed a few more spins when my chair came to an abrupt halt, jarring me. Asher hovered above me, one hand on either arm of the chair. The world kept moving in dizzying circles, and I couldn’t help my stupid grin as I tried to focus on his face.
“God, you’re an idiot. You’d better not puke in my room.”
Then he took my face and kissed me. I held on for dear life because kissing Asher was already a dizzying experience on its own, plus, I was afraid I was going to fall off the chair even though it wasn’t moving anymore.
When we came up for air, I asked, “So was that a yes? Can I introduce you to Mr. Prostate? Believe me, you’ll like him. He’s a stand-up guy with a world of surprises up his sleeve.”
“If I say yes, do you promise to go easy on me and not make fun of me?”
“Are you—” He jammed a finger over my lips.
“Yes, I’m fucking nervous. But I have to get over myself. I don’t want Jay and Dean to see it when you actually fuck me.”
“Mmm… I love the sound of that.” Asher kissed me again, and I pulled him onto my lap. “When we’re done with the mutual coming thing,” I said between kisses, “will you take me out?”
“Movies?” he muttered against my lips.
“Yes, but … I was also thinking, maybe you could go apartment hunting with me. Some of that money was deposited, and I have enough to put first and last on a place. I need to get out of Aaron’s house like yesterday.”
“What about your tuition?”
“Charlotte said the next installment will be in before it’s due. It will cover some of it, and I talked to a financial guy at school who’s letting me make small payments. Think about it. If I had my own place, we wouldn’t have to keep sneaking in here or battling with the chaos at Aaron’s. We could fuck all the time, and no one would be wiser.”
Asher perked up. “Damn. Let’s go now.”
I laughed. “But I wanna play Find the Prostate. Here’s the new deal. I find yours, you find mine, we go find me an apartment.”
“Deal.” His mouth crashed against me as he fumbled to shed my clothes.
IT WAS THE WRONG time of year to apartment hunt near the university. The term was at an end, and only a scant number of places were available immediately. We looked at a bunch of one-bedroom and bachelor-style rooms located close to the school, but nothing fit the bill. They were either too expensive or too … disgusting.
