- ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The windows to the outside engaged and rolled open. The lights in the house dimmed. We had an entire section of the beach to ourselves. I walked out on the deck and it spilled down to wide steps, ending buried in the sand.
The moon was gorgeous and lit the beach and crashing waves as if it was filming a private movie.
I turned to face him. “You wishing you took them up on this every weekend now?”
He laughed. “Yeah. It’s too gorgeous. Like you.”
I saw a spiral staircase that went to a deck even higher.
“Let’s go. There’s a bedroom I want to introduce you to.”
He let me proceed first, holding my hips as I walked.
The bedroom had its windows/walls open as well. “We’re going to sleep so well in here. This is a real-life white noise machine.”
He pulled me into the bedroom. The walls had beautiful low-light sconces. It was romantic and inviting.
“Let me get our stuff. I’ll be right back.” Austin gave me a little bow and left.
When he returned, the he placed the suitcase on a table and unzipped it with flourish.
I snagged my things out of the suitcase, then kissed his cheek. He gave me a low growl.
I freshened up in the bathroom, I was working with a classic—black panties, black bra, and thigh highs.
When I was ready, I was ready. I checked the mirror and my eyes flashed. I was thankful that I had been staying with Austin for as long as I had been because he didn’t stun me stupid with his good looks. I was used to him—mostly.
I stepped out of the bathroom and let my eyes adjust to the candlelight. The sconces had some help from a scattered few decorative candles.
He was sitting in the plush lounge chair, the wall of glass doors the bedroom had were pushed open. I could hear the surf just beyond and the breeze kicked up. He was silhouetted, slumped low in the chair with a glass of some liquor in his hand. Music was playing softly, coming out of everywhere it seemed.
Austin stood up and set his glass down, holding his hand out to me. “Beautiful Taylor.”
I walked to him. “Beautiful Austin.”
His smile made me return it. “Are you okay with this? Can I touch you?”
“Yes. Please. Otherwise I just wore a really awkward outfit to hang out with you.” I took his hand and placed it in the center of my chest.
His laugh was deep in his chest. “I want to have an interview with you first. I need to find out what you like, how you like it.”
The way he was looking at me. Like he would teach me things I never knew about my body gave me a chill.
