She spins around, shaking the can. “I actually want to put this all over your body and lick it off.”
“Damn, woman. You can’t make me late every day. Kane’s gonna have my head one of these times,” I tell her, but secretly love how much she craves me because I feel the same.
“Too bad we can’t be on our honeymoon all the time.” She pouts. After the wedding three months ago, we took a trip to Florida and spent most of the day on the beach. Nights were spent naked in bed.
“If it were up to me, I’d be permanently stationed between your legs.”
She chuckles, pouring me a cup of coffee and some orange juice for her. “Now that would be amazing, though I think your family would come lookin’ for you after forty-eight hours of you not showing up to work.”
“Oh they’d track me down after a few hours.” I serve our food, then sit across from her at the table. She squirts a large amount of whipped cream on top of her French toast and moans when she takes a huge bite. “I think this might be my new favorite thing.”
I chuckle. “Save some of that whip for my cock later.”
“Will do, Cowboy,” she says, waggling her brows.
“So what’re your plans today?” I ask since she’s off today.
“Not sure, actually. Told Harper I might come over after breakfast to play with the kids or package for her. It’ll keep me busy while I wait for you to get home.” Ever since Harper and Ethan welcomed their second baby, a girl named Hailey-Mae, she’s been going there more often to help when she’s not working. Their son, Hayden, is almost two now, so Harper’s busier than ever.
Hadleigh decided to go part-time at the hospital after we got married. The commute was taking a toll on her, but she’s so passionate about what she does that she didn’t want to totally quit. I told her I’d support whatever she wanted, so she’s been assisting Harper and Ivy since they’ve been swamped with orders.
“That sounds fun. I’ve gotta help Ethan with the goat farm today, so maybe we can meet up around lunch and have a quickie in the shed.”
“I might be able to make that work.” A hint of blush hits her cheeks. “Text me when you’re ready, and I’ll try to sneak away.”
“It’ll be just like old times,” I say, reminiscing about all the places I’ve made her come on the ranch when I was too stubborn to admit how in love with her I was.
