She gripped the edges of the porcelain as she looked into the black abyss of the drain. Her feelings were so hurt. Messiah made Morgan feel so worthless, not with bathroom sex, because she had always been down to make love whenever and wherever, but by abandonment. He had discarded her without even thinking twice. She couldn’t even look at him in the reflection of the mirror. Then she felt him, on his knees, between her legs. His tongue parted her sex, cleaning up the mess he’d made of her, sucking her soul out of her body and swallowing it … trapping it. Checkmate, bitch. Soul mates, bitch. An apology for being so cruel. Morgan’s eyes snapped closed; her grip tightened on the sink as Messiah maneuvered underneath her as if he were a plumber coming to tighten her leaky pipes. She bit her lips as he pulled on her pierced clit. He played with the piece of jewelry. The tiny M she kept there. Messiah’s pussy. She hadn’t forgotten. She’d made sure she’d tagged it so she would never forget. Even in his absence, it had been his for so long. She had waited, and then one day, the hood came to London. Ahmeek stepped off a plane, and his reintroduction into her life made Morgan not want to wait anymore. The thought of him caused Morgan’s body to tense, and she was grateful for the knock at the door that interrupted them.
“Morgan, are you in there? The ceremony is about to begin,” Aria called out. “Mo!”
Morgan scrambled. “Stop,” she pleaded weakly, but Messiah kept licking, kept sucking. “Messiah, you have to…”
Morgan’s mouth fell open as she came.
“Just like that, Mo. Some things don’t change, shorty,” he moaned, still eating, still face-deep in her.
Morgan pushed his head away, and Messiah smirked as he stood to his feet, wiping his face with one hand. “Head of the class like a mu’fucka,” he snickered. “Enjoy graduation, shorty.”
He unlocked the door and walked out, bumping into Aria along the way.
Aria stepped inside. “We’ve got to go, Mo,” she said, knowing better than to ask questions.
Morgan pulled paper towels from the holder and wet them.
“I’ll be right out. Just give me a few minutes,” she stammered, flustered.
Aria looked at Morgan in concern but said nothing as she let the door close.
“What the hell am I doing?” she asked herself.
Morgan cleaned up as best as she could before rushing out. Leave it to Messiah to bombard her greatest achievement with mixed emotions, but she knew she had to tuck them away so that she could make it through the day.
