“Avery’s next step is to find out precisely what’s in the garage. We should have that news very soon. We know it’s high-end cars. How many and how much they are worth is what he needs to uncover.” Charles was looking down the list of sisters and assignments. “That brings everyone up to date.” He cleared his throat. “Fergus and I were discussing bringing the FBI in on the Michigan property. That way, law enforcement can look into what is going on there.” Charles waited for Myra’s and Annie’s response.
After a moment of silence, Myra announced, “Yes, but it all needs to happen at the same time. We want this despicable bunch to go up in a blaze.”
“You are formulating the endgame, my love.” Charles made it a statement rather than a question.
“We are indeed. The humiliation and retribution will be epic,” Myra said wryly.
The serious conversation was broken by Annie’s wild “Woo-hoo! Game on!”
They said their fond “Ciaos,” “Byes,” “See yas,” and “Love yas” and disconnected their electronic devices.

Chapter 34
New York to London
The three women were standing in front of the Ritz-Carlton, tipping and saying their farewells to the staff, when the limo arrived to take them to the private airport in New Jersey. The ride should take under an hour.
The jet was ready when they arrived. Their luggage was stowed, and they relaxed in the lounge area of the jet, where they would remain until their pilot had clearance from the tower. At that point, they would take their seats and buckle in. Once they were at the proper altitude, they could move back to the sofa in the lounge area. The jet’s interior was the size of a studio apartment. Maybe larger.
Myra took Charlotte’s hand. “I’m pretty sure I know the answer to this, but are you ready for this?”
“Myra, this is the most excitement I have ever had in my life!” Charlotte’s eyes filled with tears. “Your friendship, your loyalty, your integrity and generosity are unparalleled.” She turned to Annie. “I do mean both of you.” Myra offered her a handkerchief. “And look. Look at this.” Charlotte motioned to the luxurious interior of the plane. “It’s a little overwhelming. Not that I’m complaining!” Charlotte burst into laughter. “As long as I’m with both of you, I know that everything is going to be fine. Exciting. And tons of fun to boot!” She raised her hand for the three of them to slap a high five.
The pilot’s voice came over the plane’s sound system. “Good afternoon, Countess, Mrs. Rutledge, and Mrs. Hansen. Please move to the forward-facing seats and buckle your seat belts. We will be moving shortly.”
