Hello everyone,

I do hope this finds you all well and ready for Christmas, unlike me; I still seem to have tons left to do (as usual!). I can’t believe that Christmas has rolled round again, it doesn’t seem like a minute since I was talking to you all last year. But at least this year we’ve all had a lot more freedom now that the Covid restrictions have been lifted. I hope you managed to catch up on all the holidays we all missed while we were in lockdown! Funnily enough, I managed quite well through that, it was when the restrictions were lifted that I had problems. I think it was because I was so used to staying in that I didn’t want to go out, but I’m getting there now. It was very strange not to have any talks or book signings to do and I really missed them because that’s where I get to meet a lot of my lovely readers. I’m also looking forward to doing book signings again and I’ve been able to see my lovely team at Bonnier Books UK for the first time in over two years when they had a party for me at their lovely new offices in Bloomsbury Square in May.

As always, it’s been a busy year writing and now I’m delighted to see A Season for Hope hitting the shelves. Once again, the designer has excelled with the gorgeous cover! I always think they can’t get any better but somehow, they always do! In this one you met the lovely Amber with her beautiful tawny eyes. For a change, I decided to set it at the seaside so we’re off to Whitby, one of my favourite places. As usual I do put the poor girl through the mill but I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. And, of course, the one for next March is nearly written; it will be the last of the Precious Stones collection, where you’ll meet Sapphire. I am so excited to be able to share with you, my lovely readers, that the title for this new book will be A Lesson Learned. It’s been such a lovely series to write that I shall be quite sad to say goodbye to them all.
