“He’s just as protective as Wreck.” Lucas laughed.

“Thank fuck those two finally got over their hatred for one another,” Kylo said.

“I know,” I groaned. “It only took a year, and they still like to give each other shit.”

“It’s their way of showing they care,” Lucas said as he shifted on his feet. “I have something to tell you both,” Lucas said.

“You’re pregnant,” Kylo teased with a chuckle.

“Well, no, but—”

I gasped. “Oh my God, you found a surrogate?”

Lucas beamed. “We did.”

“Fuck, man, that’s awesome news.” Kylo hugged Lucas to him.

When they parted, I pulled Lucas into me. “I’m so happy for you.”

“Thank you,” he whispered.

As Kylo and Lucas spoke of names depending on if it was a boy or a girl, I glanced at the rings on Lucas’s and Kylo’s fingers. Lucas had married first, a year ago. Both Kylo and I were his best men. Then Lucas and I were Kylo’s when he married Saint six months ago.

I never thought I would get past what had happened, but I did, and a lot of that was because of the people in my life. My own special family.

I still worked at the security company and was happy there. It might have been a waste not to go back and pursue a medical career, but I didn’t let it bother me. I was happy. Giddy happy. Each day I woke up beside Adrik, I thanked my lucky stars for bringing him into my life.

Who would have thought a job as an escort could lead me to the man of my dreams, but it had, and I would always be grateful.
