If London could be any kind of animal it would be a shark, even though most people don’t really think of fish as animals, like all those dumb girls at school who claim they are vegetarians but still chow down on fish sticks in the caf when it’s the daily special. London would like to be a nurse shark or a whale shark, one that is friendly and doesn’t eat a lot of meat, one that’s sort of an underdog that just goes about its business of being awesome while great whites go around hogging all the attention. Her second choice would be a seal because they seem so relaxed all the time, having fun with their seal friends in the ocean and not worrying about much of anything. Third would probably be a wolf or a cougar maybe, something that lives on land and stalks and kills its prey like a real badass. Although in real life London is a vegetarian, she understands the importance of the food chain and respects an animal that has to kill its own food, as opposed to, say, just eating a poor little innocent pig that lives in a tiny pen and has never even seen the outside. It’s like the true wild animal is really man.

Most girls in her class would probably say they would want to be a horse. London doesn’t have anything against horses except that being super into horses is kind of vanilla for a real animal lover. Anyone can like horses. It’s like saying your favourite food is a cheeseburger or your favourite music is anything except for country; it’s easy, it doesn’t take any imagination at all. No, on her hierarchy of animals she would want to be, a horse is pretty far down on the list.
