Author Biography

Kimberley Starr – bio

Kimberley Starr is an Australian novelist and teacher whose first novel, The Kingdom Where Nobody Dies, won the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award, was chosen for the One Book One Brisbane Reading campaign, and shortlisted for the Dobbie Award. Her second novel, The Book of Whispers, won the Text Prize for Young Adult & Children’s Writing.

She lives with her sons and their labrador in semi-rural Victoria and is currently completing a PhD in Creative Writing at Latrobe University.
