- About the Author
They went into the liquor store kind of like a couple, kind of like a date. It felt a little funny to Tiny, but it also felt a little good to Tiny, whose wife had never gone anywhere with him in ages.
Tiny didn’t mean for it to happen, but one thing sort of led to another. They got back in the car, and the little fat woman started telling dirty jokes and telling him how cute he was, and Tiny laughed and lit a cigarette, and the little fat woman opened her bottle and took a drink. She offered him a drink and Tiny took it. It was the first one he’d had in a long time, seeing as how he’d seen what it had done to his wife.
It turned out the little fat woman lived about twenty miles away and she apologized for that, but Tiny told her that was all right, he didn’t mind, that it had been a good while since he’d spent any time with anybody but his wife. The sun was going down and the evening was pretty, and the little fat woman had a few more drinks and got to flirting with him, and crossed her legs under her skirt. Her legs were a little hairy but Tiny didn’t care. He thought they were pretty nicely shaped. He opened his wife’s bottle and started drinking out of that. It was Ancient Age that evening.
The little fat woman had some nice fat little breasts and the thing she had on was sort of low cut, and whenever she leaned over in the seat toward Tiny, which she did a good bit, Tiny could sort of see right down that little valley. He didn’t mean for it to happen, but his love muscle got inflated, and the little fat woman noticed it and giggled and pointed to it, and then told him maybe they ought to pull over and see if they couldn’t let a little of the air out of it. Tiny had polished off about half his wife’s whiskey, and it sounded like a good idea to him, so they did. It had gotten dark by then and they pulled up into an old cemetery and all of a sudden the little fat woman was all over Tiny, spilling her whiskey on him, smooching on him with her mouth, and she knew things to do with her mouth that Tiny’s wife had never thought of or seen or even imagined, and they stayed there for about three hours, plenty long enough for Tiny’s wife to be totally enraged when he staggered in drunk, whooping and laughing, and then falling like a tree down on the couch, hiccupping and grinning before he passed out.
