“If you are calling me at eight thirty, I’m assuming you struck out,” he says, laughing.

“I’m calling to check on Dylan,” I say. “Is he okay?”

“Yeah, he and Michael are like two peas in a pod. We haven’t heard from them since they came in except when they were starving.” He laughs. “Wait, your sister is pulling my …”

“Why are you calling us?” she hisses. “You don’t take a girl out on a date and then use the phone. That’s rude.”

“We’re home,” I say, and she moans.

“Oh my God, Justin. Do I need to have the whole you need to wine and dine conversation with you?”

“You can please spare me the dating dos and don’ts. You got married at twenty-one.” I laugh and grab a bottle of water. “Can I please talk to Dylan?”

“We’re coming to church,” she says. “Everyone is going to meet at your house at ten, and we can go together.”

“Um …” I say. I’m not sure what to say or how Caroline is going to react. “Okay.”

“Dylan!” I hear Allison yell. “Phone.”

“Hey.” He comes to the phone.

“Hey, buddy,” I say, smiling and suddenly missing him. “Everything okay?” I ask, and he goes on and on about all the games he’s played, and how they did stick handling and scoring on Evan twice. “Okay, if you want to come home tonight, all you have to do is call.”

“See you tomorrow,” he says and hangs up. I pick up my jacket and walk back to the bedroom, and she turns her head when I walk in and then stretches.

“I’m hungry,” she says, and I laugh. “Are you going to feed me?” She looks at me up and down. “Why are you dressed?”

“What do you want to eat?” I ask and walk to the bed and sit beside her. “I can get naked if you like.”

“Yes.” She cranes her head to me, and I kiss her. “But first food.” I laugh and get out of bed, warming up some of the leftovers from yesterday, and she walks into the kitchen wearing my dress shirt. Only one button fastened. We eat side by side on the stool, and when we finish, she gets up to clean.

One thing leads to another, and by the time we are done, I’m fucking her on my counter. Every single time I think it won’t get better, it does. She blows my mind. She asks for what she wants and takes it also. When we finally fall asleep, it’s with her draped all over me, and in the morning, I wake with my cock buried in her mouth.

“What time is everyone coming over?” she asks, sitting on the stool wearing a robe.

I look over at the clock. “In about ten minutes,” I say, and she freaks out.
