- About the Author
She sank down, her head dropping back as she screamed.
Her tight body milked him and the last shred of Easton’s control disintegrated. He pounded up into her. “Fuck.”
Everything turned white. There was a rush of noise in his ears, then his tortured groan as he violently poured himself inside her.
Inside his Harlow.
When he was conscious enough, he felt her peppering lazy kisses over his face and neck. He pressed his face to her hair, then found her mouth for a long, drugging kiss.
“You don’t come like a billionaire,” she murmured.
A sharp laugh burst out of him. “You have experience on how billionaires come?”
“Well, no, you’re my first.”
And her fucking last.
“I just imagined you’d come more like a gentleman.” She grinned at him. “Not like a dirty-talking stevedore.”
He rose with her in his arms, his cock sliding out of her.
“Easton! I need to clean up.”
“I’ll clean you up, then this billionaire is going to show you how he’s going to go down on you, and make you scream until you’re hoarse.”
She licked her lips. “Hope you’re a billionaire who keeps his promises.”
“Oh, I am.”
Easton followed through. When he was done, he left her limp, exhausted and fast asleep in the center of his bed.
Damn. He sat and watched her. He wanted to keep her there forever.
He lay down and curled around her. She turned and snuggled deeper into him.
He pulled in the scent of her hair, and for the first time in a long time, his mind easily drifted off to sleep.
He was woken by the peal of his cell phone.
He nabbed it, blinking at the early morning light. “Norcross.”
“Easton, it’s Hunt.”
He sat up. “I’m guessing it’s not good, if the police are calling this early.”
“You asked me to keep an eye on anything to do with Carlson.”
A sleepy-eyed Harlow sat up, watching him warily.
“Yeah,” Easton said.
“The Carlson residence was broken into last night.”
Shit. “Any sign of Charles Carlson?”
Harlow pressed a fist to the center of her chest. Easton covered her hand with his.
“No,” Hunt said. “No one was home.”
“Okay, I’ll be there soon with Harlow.”
“See you there.”
Easton slid his hand around the back of Harlow’s neck. “Get dressed, baby. Your parents’ house was broken into.”
She gasped.
“No sign of your father.”
She nodded, misery in her eyes.
Easton ground his teeth together. He needed Vander to speed this up and get this situation finished with.
Chapter Fifteen
They pulled up at her parents’ large home in Presidio Heights. It was where Harlow had grown up. Her father had worked a lot, and they’d never lacked for anything. He’d taught them the value of hard work.
Clearly, he’d forgotten that lesson.
