“Get the fuck out, Wes,” Tucker demanded as his arm came around me, pulling me closer to him again while he tucked his body around me, as if he trying to cover me. Then I felt the blanket being thrown back over our bodies. Shit. Had Wes seen me naked?

“Oh hell, I’m sorry dude. Didn’t realize you had someone here.” I heard the bedroom door close before it banged back open almost immediately. “Wait a fucking minute!” Wes sounded angrier than I’d ever heard him. “I thought you were going to try to do the right thing and fucking be a man for once!” Wes’s growly pronouncement made me want to giggle. It was good to know that he wasn’t just letting his friend get away with things.

“We’ll talk in a minute, Wes. Now, get out while I get dressed.”

“Fuck that! You want to be stupid enough to have a whore here when you have a good woman who already married your ass, then she deserves to hear about it, and you deserve to have your ass handed to you.”

“What!” I shrieked, deciding to play along. “You’re married?!” I turned, making sure that the blanket continued to hide my body. Then I playfully, and carefully slapped Tucker’s face. He took my hand in his and couldn’t hold back. He started laughing, which triggered me to do the same.

“Mina?” A very confused Wes called out.

“Morning, Wes. Can you please get out so I can get dressed?”

“Um, yeah,” he said, obviously still a bit confused by the turn of events.

“And Wes?” I called before he could turn and shut the door behind him.

“Yeah?”

“Thanks for that,” I told him. He nodded once and then left the room, closing the door behind him.

“You’re evil,” Tucker informed me. “I can’t believe you acted like the wounded party there.”

“I honestly can’t believe your best friend stood up for me.”

“Why? He’s a good man, Mina.”

“He was going to aid in you hooking up with other women the night before our wedding,” I challenged.

“Believe it or not, he tried to talk me out of that too. The thing is, he also knew we weren’t a love match at the time. Wes also knew about my side of things and what I’d been through with Venla,” he tried to explain.

“No need to rehash everything. I already understand,” I reminded him. “Still, your friend earned bonus points this morning. I might have to cook breakfast for him too. Please, tell me you have food out there.”

“Kitchen is fully stocked,” he informed me as he stood. It was the first time I realized he still had on a pair of boxer shorts and if I was right in my assessment, he was sporting at least a semi. “Stop ogling my dick,” he teased before he turned and bent to grab the t-shirt that I’d been wearing last night. He tossed it to me with a grin when he caught me staring at his luscious ass. Damn, but the man obviously took care of his body.
