‘I truly believe each one of these paths of spirituality are unique in their singularity and individuality but one needs to embrace every aspect, each pathway, not looking down upon any, but in fact be certain that there is a unifying thread which passes through every road, all eventually leading to that One Door. It is important that spirituality should not be contained to the individual but like the musk fragrance, should be spread to one and all. Even the yogi, who meditates in the Himalayas, is serving all of mankind, provided he or she intends to spread the fragrance of his or her meditation for the well-being of all mankind. In meditation if the yogi spreads the vibrations of peace and well-being for all of creation, the yogi, though in some isolated cave, far away from civilization, is still very much a part of the fabric of all creation, as the vibrations emitted sends forth first ripples and then waves upon waves of well-being, peace, tranquillity and harmony for all of creation. If the yogi were only concerned about his or her own salvation, then it would become a self-centred exercise and the yogi’s journey for salvation would be slow, arduous, and who knows, it might even take lifetimes. But the moment the yogi seeks not just his or her salvation but the salvation of all beings, the well-being of all of creation, then the cosmos smiles and helps the spiritual aspirant with momentum which has never been experienced before to achieve not only his or her own goal but also to assist all of creation.’
