‘My defrosted worm, understanding that rough times are a part of the Karmic experience and the only free will one has is how we go through that Karmic experience, this is the key to the answer. When we don’t try to fight the experience but live it gracefully we are hastening the end of the Karmic experience. The more we fight it we are prolonging the incident. So a wise person goes through the experience calmly giving his or her best to each moment. Others become fearful, bitter, judgemental, slanderous, weak, lose patience and become negative, thus, create more Karma and further strengthen the Karmic experience prolonging it longer than needed. It all depends now on the individual. Not on the Karmic experience but how we embrace that Karmic experience. It is like when one is unable to sleep, either you create hell for yourself and try to force yourself to sleep or you accept that tonight you might not sleep and go about the night in either prayer, reading a book, or thinking happy thoughts, visualizing beautiful scenarios or get angry, distressed, bitter, negative, impatient, restless and stretch the night . . . in reality the duration of the night shall remain the same . . . but you shall either make it seem never-ending or dawn might just come about because you have made peace with the sleepless situation. Remember, you are not going to sleep. That has been predetermined. How you want to spend the rest of the night is up to you. Karma works in the same manner. You have to go through an experience. How you want to go through the experience will be determined by the individual. You can make it more dreadful or you can go through it with calm acceptance giving your best to each moment. Your calm acceptance, meaning your calm free will, might even allow you to sleep for the rest of the night, but your agitation will not allow you to sleep. It is now your free will that is not allowing you to sleep as the Karmic experience might even be over, but you have started something else with the wrong use of your free will. The long night and Karma are similar. How you want to spend that night will depend on your free will. Staying awake for part or most of the night might be Karmic but how you shall spend that night is up to you and your attitude towards the situation. You want to simplify matters or complicate them, that shall depend completely upon you, beta.’
‘We all have to go through such nights. If you are in awareness then each night that you are forced to stay awake, you will still be in a state of calmness. But if you react you will wake everyone up and create disharmony for yourself and others.’
‘Baba, what is the easiest way to face Karma?’
