‘My sweet fruit cake, always remember that the lower energies want to make you a vehicle to create disharmony and chaos, as that is their food and subsistence. Lower energies are present everywhere as the doors of paradise are shut to such energies and they roam about in the fringes of creation feeding off the uncentredness of all living beings.’
‘Which means?’
‘My daft child, it means that every time an individual wants to walk the Path, there are innumerable energies that do not want the person to succeed. Remember there is a war going on. Never forget this. The war between good and not good is always prevalent. There will always be those who want others to follow their path of madness and selfishness and dark energies. They find safety in numbers. They will do everything possible to pull you down to their level. They will not stop no matter how high you rise. They do not want the individual to soar but to be sucked into the abyss of darkness and negativity. Countless lower mindsets will try and bring you down but only when the individual is clear about his or her destination and priority will the individual succeed in evolving.’
‘The process of self-inquiry will bring forth lots of angst and pain and undesirable truths to the understanding of the individual. Those who are clear that they will bear the cross and still walk forward, will move ahead, but those who get caught in the web of guilt and anger and self-reproach will never be able to surface out of the muck into the Light. It is as simple or as difficult as it sounds. If you allow yourself to be flogged, coming forward from some inane sense of vengeance against one’s own self, you will sink deeper and faster into the sludge. The first step is always the most difficult as it involves a journey where the clarity of the Path or reaching the destination are still in a blur. But when your vision is clear, to rise above the muck and soar, heaven bound, only then will you break free from the clutches of the lower energies and self-incrimination. As I have told you so often, do not flog yourself because then you will achieve nothing but remorse and regret. Even remorse and regret to a particular degree are fine as long as you are going to use it to better yourself and move forward. But if you are going to use remorse and regret to just go on flogging yourself, out of some sense of self-punishment, it shall be of no use, as that self-punishment is not beneficial as it shall not let you rise but in fact sink you deeper into a sense of hopelessness. You can, for lifetimes, blame yourself for being a horrible human being or you can say, enough is enough I shall become a better human being. The choice is yours. But change is so difficult that many use this self-incrimination as an excuse and keep flogging themselves, continue to wallow in self-pity and also continue to resort to the life they have lived which even though now seemingly they hate. If you hate your previous life then change. Who stops you from change but yourself?’
