‘The journey of who am I, is thus the first stepping stone of not only knowing who you are but also becoming a more understanding human being, a more compassionate human being and also moving towards one’s Goddess, God, and Guru. The better the human being becomes, the closer you get to The One. It’s the only reality of life. You become better, you become filled with more Shakti, the primordial force within and outside, the Goddess Energy, who is beyond the beginning and the end, who is the One who allows each of us to live our destiny and eventually merge back within Her. Some call Her, Ahura, some Devi, some God, some Allah, some Shakti, whatever you call Her; She is the creator, preserver and the destroyer, in reality the essence of everything.’

Rudra nodded. His love for Goddess Kali was known to Baba and Baba had revealed to Rudra often who the Primordial One truly was, is and has always been and will be.

‘So what starts with a self-inquiry, makes you understand yourself better. With you understanding yourself better you begin to understand others far more than what you would have otherwise. With you identifying yourself and your journey with others you become a little more compassionate towards others. Compassion leads to a very important place in one’s spiritual journey as it leads you to becoming less judgemental towards others. Remember, the real journey begins when one can’t bear the darkness in their being and soul. That is when the search for Light commences. Once you are in search of Light, without doubt it will make you open your eyes to your own shortcomings and with that make you less judgemental about the shortcomings of others. So now you are more compassionate and less judgemental. Can you begin to understand the change in the individual’s personal growth? All started with the inquiry of one’s own self.’

‘Baba, You mean all those who start on the journey of self-inquiry will all of a sudden become better human beings?’
