- About the Author
This was, perhaps, his charm. To most women who knew him, he appeared to be pure and unapproachable. He seemed like some exalted figure from ancient mythology. He was, at one moment, the innocent boy whom women wanted to mother. Alternately, he was the ideal lover secretly desired. He was a man who seemed to combine unblemished purity with wanton sensuality.
Immediately after the death of James Wong, Beaulieu took Joyce Cumberland Wong as his consort. He did not woo her. He did not marry her. He took her. He took others as well.
Under the driving influence of Satan, the leader of the world began to engage in every imaginable form of depravity. The imperial palace became the home of mass orgies. Orgies with men and women, orgies enhanced by drugs, orgies involving sadism, even orgies with animals.
As a diversion, Mark Beaulieu copied a page from the lecherous life of the Roman emperor, Nero. He sent his agents all over the world for the purpose of abducting beautiful teenage girls who would be brought to the palace, subjected to one night of unspeakable acts, then turned over to the pleasure of his equally depraved bodyguards and staff. When the head is corrupt, the body also will be corrupt. The poison from Babylon began seeping into every level of society and virtually every corner of the world.
The agents of Mark Beaulieu—many of them possessed by demons—unleashed a reign of terror on the world that eclipsed the Holocaust of Adolf Hitler and the Stalinist purges in Russia combined. The earth was filled with the cries of the victims of the Antichrist. Forcible abduction, rapes, robberies, savage beatings, torture, and mass executions became the norm, not the exception. In a short while, many could no longer remember a time when it was not horrible to be alive.
In the days of Adolf Hitler, Central Europe was under the heel of a madman, but the rest of the world was free. Outside the hell of Nazism, there were strong champions who would one day bring liberty. There had always been a neutral place, a country such as Switzerland or Sweden, to which the oppressed could flee for help. There was, some where, a ray of hope. There were always civilized norms—a Geneva Convention—which offered at least a basis for an appeal.
But, under the Antichrist, there was no place of refuge. No neutral country. No recognized champion to fight for the rights of the oppressed. All the world was in the thrall of the one being in the universe who knew no mercy and whose only desire was the torture and annihilation of the entire human race.
The irony of it all had become clear. The people of the world had consciously and deliberately chosen to be ruled by the prince of evil rather than the Father of good. Now, they had no second chance.
