He walked towards her and simply hugged her. For as long as she could remember they stayed locked in an embrace. Rajjo lost count of the minutes and hours. She could smell his sweet sweat. They kissed each other for a long long time. She was back on the terrace under a starlit sky, where lovers and angels sat.

Finally he took her by the hand towards the bathroom and led her under the shower

Rajjo knew that more than talking, they needed to feel each other. He removed his clothes – and Rajjo did the same. They stood facing each other, naked and bare, vulnerable. His body was scarred badly too. But for Rajjo it was sheer perfection.

Harsh’s eyes drank in her beauty, her body even more beautiful than he remembered. Her swollen breasts, her flat stomach, her curves ached for his touch. He wanted to worship her body like a slave. He sponged her very slowly and very gently, around her breasts, between her legs and all around her lovely back. With the water still running he began to kiss her and explore the inside of her mouth with his tongue. She responded in a way he couldn’t remember her ever doing before. Like both of them had lived and matured during their long separation. As soon as his tongue poked between the lips of her flower she arched her back and moaned. He needed to taste all of her. It was a beautiful desperation. She held onto him tightly as he pounded her. He was desperate to come inside of her after such a long time. For a while he just kept pumping into her and she continued to cling to him, digging her teeth into his shoulder, her entire being in a cosmic whirl, the familiar chaos and then the white light as they both cried out together. The water caressed them, their bodies entwined under the sharp spray.

A gunshot pierced the sky, a temple bell followed. The gun salute at the temple had begun. It reverberated through the night as the light faded away and Harsh took Rajjo many times over to feed his famished soul.

One moon later, they were on the streets exploring the city. In the evening the dramatic sound and light show lit the fortresses of Raj, Sheesh and Jahangir mahals, the courtyard was now an open bazaar selling anything from sweets to knickknacks. Hand in hand they passed the cows being worshipped and fed.
