“Shall we sit awhile?” she asked, lowering herself to the sandy ground. As she did, her skirts rode up, exposing her creamy, voluptuous thighs.
When he seated himself beside her, he placed his arm around her shoulders and pulled her near so that he could kiss her. When the kiss broke, they looked longingly toward the sea, watching the lumbering waves wash onto the shore.
“Have you ever been kissed by the sea, Newland?”
He laughed. “Kissed, never. I have bathed in the sea.”
“Wearing your swimming attire always?”
“Yes, of course.” He brushed her fallen, windswept hair aside from her neck and placed his lips upon her flesh.
Her body shuddered.
“Are you chilled?” he asked.
“No, not at all. Your touch excites me.”
“Good,” he said, and continued toward the front of her dress and began unbuttoning it.
“Let’s go in,” she said.
“But what if we’re—”
“There’s no one near and you did admit that you have never been kissed by the sea.”
“Ah, so that’s what you meant, to venture out without our clothes.”
She curled her lips to a delighted smile. “It’s so divine. You cannot believe how luxurious it feels.”
They stood and undressed, laying their clothes on a rock. They looked toward the sea and he grasped her hand. Together, they ran toward the surf, laughing as children, and raced into the water, jumping through the waves until they stood waist deep, letting the smooth waves ripple over them. He pulled her near and lifted her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and clung to his neck. He held her in his arms, supporting her by her bottom cheeks. The feel of her body next to his, sliding against the pull of the surf, was divine. Newland soon found that he was aroused.
“I told you,” she whispered into his ear, rolling her tongue around the rim of it.
He reached a hand further below and slid his fingers through her feminine folds, finding that she, too, was aroused.
“Place yourself inside me,” she said.
Her bare breasts rubbed against his chest, and he was thrilled by the feel of her hard nipples caressing him as the waves glided over and past them. He slowly lowered her body so that his staff met the entrance to her sheath. The sensation in water was quite different to him, although she was ready enough, so he pushed himself inside of her.
“Yes,” she hissed into his ear, her voice low but penetrating.
In no time, they were making love for the second time that day, the undulating waves guiding their rhythm. Neither complained, but rather found themselves lost in a tantric labyrinth of delayed gratification. Their hearts beat together with complete synchronicity as though their anatomies were one pendulum held by a single rod.
When a larger wave broke over them, splashing their faces, she rose up and brushed her cheek across his, and then found his lips. The breeze was tranquil and light, and it blew stray wisps of her hair across both of their faces.
