TIME LINE

Welcome to the sovereign territory of Muungano, centered around a lunar outpost but whose ties extend to Titan, Oyigiyigi (a series of asteroid belts), and Bronzeville (one of the Mars settlements). It’s led by a coalition of weusi people, mostly a mix of Asili (natives of the Motherland, Alkebulan) and Ugenini (children of the diaspora). Here’s how it came to be:

Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo-Addo, declared and formally launched the “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” for Africans in the diaspora, giving fresh impetus to the quest to unite Africans on the continent with their brothers and sisters in the diaspora.

–2024  The Great Unrest.

  First World established.

Ecological collapse on Earth and climate terraforming.

The Rorschach Disaster, when Earth abandoned the fledgling lunar outpost in favor of Mars settlements.

Mars. Established as New Earth, leaving those left behind on what was now referred to as Original Earth. They returned the name to Mars as they opted to carve out their own identity.

Earth. The Decade-Long War—Original Earth breaks down in a series of religious wars.

Fifth Wave Migration. The Ugenini and Asili people began to settle on First World due to the private interstellar shuttle conglomeration Outer Spaceways Inc.

Ujima Experiment, when the weusi assumed control of the physical space of First World. The colony began as a recovery space. They began to reach out and build institutions to create time (to control their own stories). Soon, First World became a thriving community, with the efficient mining of He-3 and after the discovery of kheprw crystals, which helped fuel their starships.

Mothership Incident, when the mothership accidentally slipped back in time through a wormhole, returning and then hiding behind the moon.

The Liberation Investment Support Cooperative (LISC) expands and recharters the United Nations under its auspices.
