Chapters (49)
When designing the series, my publisher found me an artist, Qing Han, a young woman with a sharp sense of humour and impossibly positive attitude, whose incredible detailed work had inspired millions of people from every corner of the globe. She weaved her unfortunate and unfair medical circumstances into inspiring messages of hope through her art, some of which consisted of young women painting stars into the air or crying galaxies, which is exactly what she did. She took hold of her situation and painted magic into our world. What Qing provided for the Rosewood series is immeasurable and it would not be what it is without her. She gave the books that feel of escape and wonder the moment you touched a copy, and with the cover art she provided for the series she brought it to life and made it real.
I cannot thank her enough for what she did for my books, and I know she, more than anyone, would take what we all feel about her passing and turn it into something beautiful. Rosewood will not be the same without her, but I hope we can all strive in her name to bring a little magic into the world.
