“Stop them!” Rose shouts to the driver and the footman, but they’re too busy trying to fly the carriage with two fewer Pegasi. Rose looks back at us as we start to pull away. “No! Sasha! Don’t!” Rose screams, but her voice is snatched away by the wind as the two Pegasi carry us off into the afternoon clouds, blocking us from sight.

The Real Kingdom News
Greetings, royal lovers! Did you miss me?
I apologize for my unplanned absence. I know it seemed awfully rude of me to vanish before writing about Countess Claudette’s long-awaited wedding to the Prince of Sandringham (Oh, the swan-boat procession! The singing lobsters! The firefly fireworks spectacular! This couple truly likes to celebrate in the grandest of styles!), but sometimes princesses really do have to abandon their glass slippers before the stroke of midnight.
This happened to be one of those times, and the change of footwear was not my choice.
You see, I, along with several of my classmates, was banished from Royal Academy. I know it’s not in my nature to share details about my true identity, but desperate times call for desperate measures. The sad truth, my royal lovers, is that the atmosphere at Royal Academy is toxic, and the truth must be brought to light.
From the outside, Royal Academy may appear dreamlike, but appearances can be different from reality.
Consider the enrollment process: If you’re born royal, you must attend this school, which is run by our kingdom’s most trusted fairy godmother. But this fairy godmother is no godsend. In truth, she rules the school to fulfill her own agenda. By controlling what young princes and princesses learn and who they will someday become, she can ensure that they rule this kingdom the way she sees fit.
By forcing students to take the classes she believes they should take, she prevents students from reaching their true potential, whether that’s becoming a culinary genius or a journalist like myself. By teaching students to fear those who are different (i.e., not royal), she is ensuring they follow an elitist path rather than learn about the people they are meant to rule. And what of the rule that only royalty should sit upon a throne? What if the right person for the job does not have a royal pedigree? Should they be overlooked because of their lack of title? We think not! Just as Fairy Tale Reform School has taught us a villain can be redeemed, we must also accept that a beloved fairy godmother could have darker motives.
I urge my readers to open their eyes and ears and question what they know about Royal Academy’s headmistress. My friends and I were banished from Royal Academy last week, not for committing any sort of villainy, but for exposing the truth about her nefarious intentions. But we won’t let the fairy godmother continue to endanger the citizens of Enchantasia. We urge you to rise up and express your concerns with us. Not just for us, but for the good of all our people!
