Acknowledgments
I feel it is worth adding that I love book groups. I’ve met some really wonderful friends through a number of groups, and for that I will always be grateful. This book was intended to be more a look at human nature, rather than anything else. It seemed to me that a book club would be an interesting setting, since the people who come together may only have a love of books in common and not much else.
Firstly, I need to thank Andrew Barrett for tirelessly sharing his forensic expertise with me, and Kerry Richardson for being kind enough to help me with the police elements of the novel.
A special thank you has to go to my wonderful beta readers – Alexina Golding, Anita Waller and my mother. You helped me shape this book into something I am proud of.
I am also indebted to my editor, Joanne Craven, for all her hard work on getting the manuscript polished, and the proofreaders who’ve had to correct all my daft mistakes.
During the writing of this book, on various occasions, I have asked fellow Bloodhound authors to help me out. I am honoured to work alongside a bunch of truly lovely, knowledgeable, and talented people. Thank you all.
