Tucket’s Gold

Things look grim for fifteen-year-old Francis Tucket and young Lottie and Billy. Without horses, water, or food, they’re alone in a prairie wasteland, with the dreaded Comanchero outlaws in pursuit. Enemies old and new wait at every turn, and death might strike at any moment. But so might good fortune. They stumble upon an ancient treasure and use teamwork, courage, and fast thinking to hold on to it. When they discover a hidden village, the West doesn’t seem so wild after all.

Tucket’s Home

Francis Tucket, Lottie, and Billy have survived hair-raising and rip-roaring adventures as they’ve struggled west, held together by their goal to find Francis’s family on the Oregon Trail. They also share a secret: the treasure hidden in their saddlebags. Now the three meet up with a British adventurer, with men of faith and hope, and with bloodthirsty ex-soldiers. Even here, at the end of the trail, surprises and tragic turns await them.
