One moment they were in the kitchen and the next her back was against the dining room wall. She had no idea how her jeans came off but they did. They fell to her ankles. She gave a little kick but they stayed on, like a rope binding her feet.
Adam put his foot over them and lifted her. Her legs went around his waist, his bare waist. He entered her with the pent-up force of months of longing.
Kelly gave a little noise of shock.
“Okay?” he asked.
“Oh, yes. Yes, yes, yes.”
Minutes later she felt his release, but not her own. She just felt that she wanted more.
Adam knew. He made a sweep of whatever was on top of the dining table and set her down on the edge.
“Uh-oh,” she said as things clattered to the floor.
Adam didn’t comment, as he was too busy removing her shirt. His mouth was on her breasts, his tongue on her skin.
After the dining table, he carried her to the big bed, and it was there that Kelly felt the release that Adam had.
He rolled off her and they lay side by side.
“I had no idea.” She looked at him. “This is new to me. Now what happens?”
“We shower, then we eat so I have the energy to do it all over again.”
Kelly jumped out of bed. “Let’s go!”
He heard her turn on the shower. “I have unleashed a monster,” he said with a smile.
That evening Adam got around to calling his little brother. Robbie picked up on the sixth ring. There was music in the background.
Immediately, Robbie started to defend himself. “It’s just a few friends. It’s not a real party. We won’t break anything or—”
“It’s okay,” Adam said. “It’s your house, too.”
“Are you drunk? Or did you drop some acid?”
“Sort of,” Adam said.
“What’s going on? Vera’s called about fifty times and Miguel came by. He said he has to talk to you. Life or death. He looked bad. Has something happened?”
“Yes. Lots of things. What kind of truck does Miguel drive?”
“Silver Chevy. Why?”
“Dent in the back?”
“Yeah. He said Gabby hit it with the tractor. On purpose. Forget that. What’s going on with you three?”
“Four,” Adam said. “There are now four of us.”
“You and Vera, Miguel and Gabby?”
“No, not Gabby.” Turning, he saw Kelly. She’d put on a black negligee. It was semitransparent and there was a tiny red bow between her breasts. “I have to go. Something’s come up.”
At the double entendre, Kelly giggled.
“That’s a woman!” Robbie said. “Is Vera there with you?”
“Yes. No. Keep the music down, light booze, no drugs, and I better not get a call that you’re in jail. I’m going to be too busy to bail you out. I’ll see you...whenever.”
