I was ready to have him again, and when I couldn’t take it anymore, I reached down and positioned his cock at my entrance, plunging him inside of me. “Yesss,” Oakley hissed. I rode him, thanking God I’d been working on my squats. Being on top was a lot of work.
He moaned and said my name over and over and over again. We climbed that peak of bliss together. Our bodies were slick with sex, and the sound of our panting filled the room. He felt so good, and each gyration of my hips brought us closer and closer.
“Amanda,” Oakley cried out as his body went stiff. My breath hitched as I joined him. We both fell apart on a scream, the rolling orgasm running through my body like a bath overflowing with water. And when we were done, I collapsed on his chest, completely sated and out of breath.
“That was,” Oakley began, seemingly at a loss for words. “That was incredible.”
I smiled and rolled over to his side, finally taking a moment to look around the room full of desks, computers, and office chairs. “Solver,” Oakley whispered while propping his head up to stare at me. He stroked my neck with his fingers.
“Yeah?”
“I love you. I mean that. I really fucking love you.”
My heart bloomed. I couldn’t believe this man. I couldn’t believe we were here. Oakley Davis broke down all my walls and proved me wrong. We were both changed for the better.
“I love you, too.”
Epilogue
Three Years Later
“If you want an exclusive with my client, then you better make it worth our while. He’s the hottest player in the NFL right now, and if you want him on the cover of your magazine, we need to make sure it represents his brand well,” I said while simultaneously typing an email. I was a multitasking goddess.
“We’ll send over the concept right away, Miss Matthews,” the editor for Sports Illustrated rushed out. I ended the call and stretched my arms up. I’d been working all day and needed a break. Being a publicist to three of the top athletes in the US was a lot of work, but I loved every second of it. Although I really needed to study golf a bit more for my newest client. I had no idea what a barkie was and had made a fool of myself earlier. Good thing I was damn good at the other aspects of my job.
“You done working?” Oakley asked. He’d popped his head in the doorway to my home office.
“Yes. I’m so hungry. I need carbs. And maybe a Diet Coke,” I pleaded, standing up. Oakley fully entered my office, and I was shocked to find that he was in a suit. “What are you wearing? Shit. Was there an event tonight I forgot?”
