  50. Epilogue

A burst of laughter bubbles up my throat at the question. It’s a legitimate one, but after the heavy shit we just talked about, it seems so minor. “Once. In high school. My sophomore year, I started dating a girl who I stayed with for the remainder of high school. We broke up because I was going here for school, and she was going to some school in Florida.”

“But no one since?”

“Nah. So, you said you and your wife were each other’s firsts… does that mean you’ve never been with anyone else ever?”

His deep laugh rumbles through my body. “Aida and I… explored when we were in our early twenties.”

My face screws up. “What does that mean?”

“One time after we finished our second year of undergrad, we took a weekend trip to Portland. We got drunk and ended up taking a guy from the bar back to our hotel.”

“You guys fucked him?” I’m glad my back is facing him, and he can’t see the way my brows have shot toward the sky.

“Uh… yeah. Kind of. It started out as fulfilling a fantasy for Aida, to be with two guys. We all fooled around, and then he fucked her… while I fucked him.”

Jesus fuck, that shouldn’t turn me on as much as it does. It does explain his confidence when it came to being with me intimately, though. “Was that your first time with a guy?”

“It was. I had my suspicions that I was bisexual before then, but never acted on it. That confirmed it.”

“And you guys never spoke to him again?”

“We did not. We didn’t even get his name, if I’m being honest. He left afterward, and that was that. Aida and I also never spoke of it again.”

“Not gonna lie, teach. That visual is hot as hell.”

He laughs again before asking, “What about you? Have you hooked up with men before?”

“Oh, yeah. Plenty.”

He chokes on the beer he was trying to drink. “Really? Plenty?”

“I’m bisexual, but my preference is men, and I have only been in one serious relationship… four years ago. So, yeah.”

“When was your first time… with a guy?”

“Well, my freshman year of high school, my buddy, Branson, and I fooled around a bunch. Hand jobs and blow jobs, but never sex. I didn’t have actual sex with a man until my freshman year of college.”

“And are you always a bottom?”

I can’t help but smile at his inquisitive questions, and the fact that I can feel the start of his erection on my back. “Nah, teach. I’m a switch. I like to fuck as much as I like to be fucked.”

“That’s, uh,” he says, clearing his throat. “That’s good to know.”

“Why? You wanna be fucked sometime?”

“Ah, I don’t know about that.”
