  50. Epilogue

When we walk in and pay the cover fee, we head into the main area. The whole room is dim, with a pink glow. The bar is on the other side of the room, straight ahead of us. It’s long and there’re pink LED lights under the whole length of the counter. Women and men are working on pouring drink after drink for customers, all barely dressed. Some women have pasties covering their nipples, some have nothing from the waist up at all.

The music is loud, vibrating through the area, and there are various poles located throughout the room. I sent Molly a text as soon as we parked and she just responded, letting me know they’re all downstairs. In the far corner of the area, there is a set of stairs, so I grab Cash’s arm, leading him in that direction. The stairwell is quiet compared to everywhere else.

Before we get to the bottom where there’s a door that leads to whatever the hell we’re about to walk into, I shove Cash up against the wall. His eyes widen, lips parting as he takes me in.

“Thank you for coming with me tonight.” One of my hands rests on the wall beside his head, and he automatically reaches up and grabs my arm.

“Thanks for inviting me. I have no clue what we’re in store for, but I’m sure it’ll be fun.” The way he’s looking up at me through his thick, dark lashes is sexy as hell, as always. The dim light in the stairwell shows off the gold flecks in his nearly black eyes, and his tongue peeks out, wetting his lips. My eyes follow the movement.

“C’mon. Let’s get in there before I’m tempted any further to take you in this stairwell.” My voice comes out gruff. I press my lips to his in a quick, harmless kiss before turning and walking the rest of the way down the stairs, adjusting the semi in my pants.

Pushing through the door, the sight before us is a whole different world from the one upstairs. Black leather couches are placed strategically throughout the wide-open space, and the area is covered in a red glow, as opposed to the light pink glow from upstairs. Unlike upstairs, there are no stripper poles, but there are mini stages placed throughout, with black leather chairs circling them. Some of the stages are empty, while others have two or three people playing together for everyone to watch.

In the far-left corner, there’s a much larger stage in front of rows upon rows of black chairs. Nobody is occupying that area yet, but I have a feeling that’s where the Dominatrix performance is going to go. In the far-right corner, there’s a dark hallway that houses several doors on either side. Julian mentioned private—and public—rooms, so that must be what those are.
