  39. About the Author

Sebastian orders that and adds lobster, a side of roasted root vegetables, and a beer tasting for each of us.

Everything is just as delicious as breakfast. We finish all the food, and I put my hand on my stomach. "I'm officially full."

"It was good, wasn't it?" Sebastian asks.

"Delicious," I declare.

He glances at his watch. "It's after six. Do you want to go to the hotel and check in? I could do with a little nap before we go out tonight. Unless you decide you want to stay in?" he adds and gives me his lewd, challenging stare.

My face heats and I answer, "We have been out all day."

He murmurs, "Maybe we should shower and double-check they fixed the plumbing."

I lean into his ear, drag my fingers over his inner thigh, then suggest, "I am feeling a bit dirty. Maybe you can help make sure I get clean?" I retreat and give him an innocent stare.

"Time to go," he states, rising and holding his hand out.

I laugh, take it, and we walk to the SUV. Before we get inside, he gives me a kiss on the lips and studies me for a moment.

My nerves ignite. I question, "What?"

He hesitates and says, "I think this is the happiest I've ever seen you."

I confess, "It is."

"Really?"

"Yeah, this was the best day of my life so far," I tell him honestly.

A huge grin forms on his face. He takes my hand and kisses the back of it. "That's good, Sunshine. It's mine too."

"It is?"

He nods. "Without a doubt."

We get into the car. He tugs me into him, and I stare out the window, happy, content, and with a stomach full of food. I'm so full of joy I think I might explode, but I realize it's not just Iceland. It's spending time with Sebastian that I love so much. Within minutes, I drift off to sleep, curled into his warm chest, dreaming about us.

SEBASTIAN

A Few Days Later

"After you," I say, opening the door to our hotel. Georgia and I were downstairs eating breakfast. She finally agreed to show me her franchise concept. I've been bugging her all week to show me, and I could tell she was closer to caving. Now that she's agreed, I'm chomping at the bit to see it.

"Aren't you the eager beaver?" she teases and steps inside.

"Yep. And proud of it," I declare. I grab my laptop off the desk. "Sit."

She obeys, and I take the seat next to her. I turn on the laptop, punch in my security code, and place it on her lap. "Go ahead and log in."

She bites her lip and winces.

My gut sinks. "What's wrong? You're not backing out, are you?"

She hesitates, stating, "No. It's just... Well, I've not shown anyone this."

"Melanie has seen it," I point out.

"Melanie doesn't count," she claims.
