Willow and Eden find each other, and all the surfaces start sliding, but it’s okay—it means changes they wanted to make now have to be made. The time for growth hath arrived. And as I wrote their story, I found myself growing too. I can go out now and make plans and think about the future. Travel no longer terrifies me. So thanks Willow and thanks Eden for reminding me that just beyond our comfort zones is where all the fun stuff happens.
Additional super mega thanks to all below.
Kole. The incomparable. You saved me a millionth time. Some truly excellent catches in this edit. Especially the one involving booty!
Nix, Carmen, My Book Obsession and Jesi Mary. Thank you so much for beta reading. Your input was so damn helpful.
My cousin, Vincent Calderone an exceptionally talented DJ (one half of the mega duo Teddy Cream) who took time out of his schedule to answer my questions. I forever respect our handshake. Also, if anyone has a problem with how DJing is portrayed in this novel—raise me a famous DJ cousin you fuckin’ pleb. Oh, that’s right, you can’t. Unless Tiesto is reading this…
Phillip. For everything and more.
Timothy James. Timothy Jimothy. TC. TJ. Cermet. Babe. You always, always make me smile.
Andy. I love you little princess. You’re my good girl.
Claire Shinners. The best friend a human could have. Your excitement for this book warmed my heart. Don’t watch the new season of Outlander. It’ll only piss you off.
Peasy. I love you, my buddy. I’m listening to She’s On The Money as soon as I’m done with this.
Lou George. Big reputations. Big reputations. You and me? We got big reputations. AHHHHHHH and you heard about me OOOOOOOOH!!!
Trance music. I always liked you, but writing this took me to new levels of admiration and weird dancing.
Polenta. It’s good.
That Colorectal surgeon I drank with. Thanks girl, that was some mega helpful advice. I hope you got your man.
Anthony Bourdain. I re-read all your books while writing this. I miss you. I know that’s presumptuous but I don’t care. I’d never want to meet you, but I wish you were still around. Especially because you hated Billy Joel too. Rest easy, Chef.
Mac Miller. Same to you, dude. Circles changed my life.
To all my fans and readers. The fact you chose to spend a slice of your precious time with my work is so fucking cool. Thank you a million ways again and again. And stay tuned, I’ve got some big things in the pipeline and it’s not a weird shifter romance about dogs! (Follow me on TikTok for that joke to make sense!)
