I will never NEVER forget the sight of you clutching that singing dog. (Especially as I’d never heard this song IN MY LIFE before). A true classic Christmas (crime) scene.

2. “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby

Sorry I couldn’t find the jazz version from the market, but don’t mess with perfection, I say. Obviously nowhere good as Dottie’s version though (this was her choice for the list btw). Also Bing wasn’t his real name. It’s Harry. I know you love a Christmas fact. You’re welcome.

3. “Little Donkey” by The Beverley Sisters

Dominic will never be okay that you’ve left. Please continue to spread his reindonkey fame across the land (Little Marsh).

4. “Last Christmas” by Wham!

Elle’s choice. She said it always makes her smile when Fred sings that she gave away her heart “the very next Dave.” And it was playing when we had our first real chat. I’ve put it on ALTHOUGH I FUNDAMENTALLY DO NOT BUY INTO THE LYRICS. OKAY?

5. “Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End)” by The Darkness

You put this on in my car, and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since (just like you). (Oh God, I can’t believe I just wrote that. In pen.)

6. “Candy Cane Lane” by Sia

Your face when you came to yell at me for waking you up with this was somehow both terrifying and incredibly cute.

7. “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” by The Bublé

Full disclosure, this was Mom and Dad’s choice. Well, Mom’s. They send their love. Perfect song for you to put on in…October? (JOKE.)

8. “Driving Home for Christmas” by Chris Rea

It’s your mom’s favorite (clearly a woman of excellent taste), and it reminds me of the best day I’ve ever had in New York. They didn’t have a “flying home” version, so this will have to do. Monster Elsa says hi btw.

9. “Blue Christmas” by Elvis

Remember that time when we had a really awkward convo in my car, and you were dripping snow everywhere and I was bummed out because I thought you hated me? But weirdly it somehow made everything get really good? Well, you do now.

10. “Winter Wonderland” by Anna Kendrick & Snoop Dogg

Honestly, the Alpine Peaks Senior Living crowd was the most lit audience ever. I will never forget this. And neither will the rest of the band. New York will have nothing on this. I went for the Pitch Perfect (and yes, I’ve seen it, so don’t even ask) version, as there are too many dudes on this list.

11. “One More Sleep” by Leona Lewis
