Mason rubbed the back of my neck. “So, I might’ve flubbed that piece of things last time. But you were in on all the planning this time.”
“I wish you would’ve let me plan the bachelorette party,” Irma said as she walked up with Jensen.
“Gran…Anna didn’t want strippers,” Jensen reminded her.
Irma harumphed. “What good is a bachelorette party without strippers?”
Juliette held out a hand for a high-five. “Amen, sister.”
Irma pointed a finger in her direction. “I knew I liked you. What do you say we go get some champagne?”
Juliette looped an arm through Irma’s. “I’ll show you the way.”
“Should I be worried about that developing friendship?” Jensen asked.
“Definitely,” Mason answered.
“I better keep an eye on them.” She started to follow the two women, but Tuck pulled her into his arms, laying a sizzling kiss on her lips. Jensen swatted at his shoulder, but the blush on her cheeks told me they might be sneaking away from the party early.
Her and Walker’s parents were hosting a slumber party for all the kids at their ranch tonight so the parents could have a night to themselves. And if I knew anything about Tuck, it was that he wouldn’t waste a night alone with his wife.
A soft strain of notes floated through the air, and I turned to see Liam helping Noah with a song on the guitar. Tessa looked on, so much love in her eyes. As Noah picked up the tune, Liam straightened, wrapping his arms around her from behind and resting his hands on her stomach.
The way he caressed her belly had me looking up at Mason. “Do you think Tessa’s pregnant, too?”
He looked in their direction, studying the couple. “I have no idea. But it wouldn’t surprise me.”
No, it wouldn’t. Tessa had always wanted the biggest family possible, and Liam would give anything to keep his wife happy. Mason wrapped an arm around my shoulders. “Why don’t we get you something to drink?”
I nodded, a smile curving my lips. “Maybe a ginger ale.”
“Have you been feeling sick? Maybe you should sit. Rest. God, I have no idea what you should or shouldn’t be doing. I need to get some books—”
I cut Mason off with a kiss. “I’m fine. A little nauseous here and there, but the ginger ale will help cut it off before it starts.”
“You’re sure?”
“Positive.”
We headed for the bar. Mason asked for a beer and a ginger ale. He handed me the soda, and as we turned to head back to our small party, Taylor and Walker were there. Taylor’s gaze zeroed in on the soda bottle the bartender tossed in the recycling and then at my glass. “Oh my God. Are you pregnant?”
