She was about to question that when he bent his head and slid his mouth under the coatdress, under her slip and bra and right onto her soft, firm little breast.

She gasped. Her head fell back. She moaned harshly as the motion of his mouth and tongue caused the most exquisite sensations she’d ever felt in her whole life. Then he began to suckle her, and she went under like a swimmer drowning in passion.

She was so aroused that she never noticed or cared that the curtains were open. She lay on the bed nude, twisting and writhing with a need she’d never known she had while Colter undressed. He turned toward her, and even the sight of him without clothing didn’t embarrass her. She was too hungry. She held out her arms, arching her back as he came down to her, hard and powerful and demanding.

Minute after blistering minute, she clung to him, arching and moaning and sobbing as he aroused her to fever pitch. When he went into her, the last thing in the world she was thinking about was whether or not it would hurt. She wrapped her legs around his and moaned with every hard thrust until the rhythm increased to madness and, at the last, she cried out so loudly in her pleasure that he covered her mouth with his kiss to muffle the sound so that it wouldn’t carry.

She wept when it was over, still clinging to the tanned, muscular, perfect body still joined to hers in the sweaty, lazy aftermath.

“Were you scared?” he teased.

She laughed secretly. “I forgot to notice. Where did you learn that? Never mind,” she added quickly. “I don’t want to know!”

His mouth brushed her throat softly. “It was long before I met you, when I was young and curious.” He lifted his head. “There will never be anybody else except you, as long as I live. I promise you that on my honor.”

She traced his jaw. “It’s the same for me.” She looked up into his black eyes. “I love you, Colter.”

He flushed. He bent and kissed her softly, hungrily. “And I love you. Nasturtium,” he added wickedly.

“Don’t you...!” she began in mock anger.

His hips moved very slowly. She felt him inside her, felt him swell, watched his eyes as it happened and caught her breath.

“It’s all new and fascinating,” he whispered. “Even for me.”

She shivered. “It’s...beyond words, trying to describe how it feels,” she replied.

“Oh yes,” he murmured as his mouth found hers and the rhythm began all over again.

They got up, showered and dressed in their traveling clothes. She hugged him close before they went out the door.

“We forgot to talk about something,” she said.

His eyebrows rose.

She colored, just a little. “You mentioned my period, remember?”

“Yes,” he said.

“Well, I’m halfway between periods,” she said.
