- About the Author
Lila rakes down my back with her fingernails, her breath coming in pants. I slant the thrust of my hips slightly and she moans in delight against my mouth.
“Do you like that?” I murmur.
“Oh yes...right there.”
Now that I had found the perfect angle to drive her over the edge, I’m not stopping. She gasps again and I snap. A mindless rhythm overtakes me and I pound into her fast and deep.
“Oh God!” she cries out. “Sam, don’t stop.”
I feel her start to ripple around my cock, her muscles spasming in release. Her entire body jerks uncontrollably underneath me as she keeps calling my name. If she’s trying to drive me insane, it’s working.
I completely lose it.
I ramp up the depth and speed of my thrusts. She grabs my hair and drags my face up so that our lips clash at the very moment I cum deep inside her. I groan against her mouth as she holds me tight with her pussy muscles until the very last shudder is gone and I’m spent.
“I don’t want to move,” I say into her ear minutes later. “Ever.” I collapse on top of her, and she leisurely moves her hands up and down my back.
“So don’t,” she whispers. “Stay right here.”

“How did you get this scar?” Lila asks me much later. “A knife fight?”
She runs a finger gently across the long, jagged scar running across my left shoulder, then dabs antiseptic on the scrape below it.
“Shit!” I yell. “That stings.”
“I’m sorry. I don’t want it to get infected.”
She blows on the scrape and the sting goes away.
“Nothing as exciting as a knife fight,” I tell her. “It was a belt buckle.”
“What? Someone hit you hard enough to leave a deep scar like this? Who did it?”
I lift my head off the pillow and turn around to look at her.
“Do I have to talk about this?”
“I want to know who did it and when it happened, that’s all,” she says with a worried look. “You don’t have to tell me anything else. Unless you want to.”
“My dad, and it was years ago when I was a kid.”
Lila grows quiet.
“Did it happen often?” she finally asks.
“Often enough, and that’s all I’m going to say about it.”
“Do you still see him?”
“Not me. Flint and Jesse go by to check on him occasionally. I hold grudges for a long time and I don’t forgive easily. Maybe someday I’ll feel differently. Can we please not talk about this?”
I roll over on my back and reach for her.
She puts the bottle of antiseptic on the bedside table and snuggles down onto my chest.
“So what did you think about my family?” I ask.
