They are the first jubilee of the Gospel. And they are true of Mary beyond all others, for she by her “Be it done unto me” preceded all others along the way of redemption, yes even helped to prepare that way. Without her consent there had been no redemption, and therefore is she for us all the “Gate of heaven.”
