Patron of Saiduan before Alaar Masoth Taar.
Pana Woodlands
Also simply referred to as “the woodlands” this area stretches from the base of Mount Ahya in Dhai all the way to the sea, blanketing the western half of the country. Dangerous, contaminated, and very wild, exiled Dhai or “woodland Dhai” have lived here for centuries.
Para
A heavenly body which appears above Raisa for roughly four years, with a ten-year absence between appearances (approximate). Para’s light is blue, and those who can call on it may be able to manipulate air to affect weather, use as shields, call tornadoes, etc. Many are also immune to wards, and cannot be bound by them.
Para has also been called the Lord of the Air, or “Rhea’s blue daughter,” in Dorinah.
Parajista
Refers to those who can call on Para when it is ascendant. Abilities include the manipulation of air to affect weather, use as shields, call tornadoes, etc. Many parajistas are also immune to wards, and cannot be bound by them.
Parajistas are also known as parajinas and wind wizards.
Pass War
War between Dhai and Dorinah twenty years ago. Began when 800 dajians escaped Dorinah and demanded entrance to Liona, only to be crushed and killed by Dorinah legions when the Dhai would not open the gates. When the Dhai opened fire on the Dorinah, the war began. Its end is largely credited to Ghrasia Madah and Kai Javia Mia Sorai, who used both strategy and political savvy to placate the Dorinahs.
Patron of Saiduan
Leader of the Saiduanese people. Powerful Saiduanese families have traditionally gone to war for the title. Since it was established, eighteen different families have ruled Saiduan. When a new family rises to power, the prior family’s adults are killed and the children raised as slaves.
Rainaa
A slave of the Patron of Saiduan.
Raisa
Name by which the world is commonly known in Dhai.
Rajavaa Daonia
Captain-General in charge of a Saiduan military regiment. Maralah Daonia’s brother.
Ranana Talisina Saiz
An Ora, and the defense forms teacher at the Temple of Oma. A sinajista.
Rasandan Parada
A dancer at Kuonrada, in Saiduan.
Rhea
The goddess of Dorinah’s primary religion, whose symbol is a great cat’s eye on a field of purple. Para, Sina and Tira are said to be her daughters. The Empress of Dorinah is also known as Rhea’s divine, as Rhea is her mother.
Rhin Gaila Garika
Shepard. Husband to Meyna Salisia Mutao and brother to Hadaoh Alais Garika, Lohin Alais Garika and Yisaoh Alais Garika.
Rishin Garin Badu
Father of Kirana Javia Garika and Ahkio Javia Garika. Deceased.
Rohinmey Tadisa Garika
Novice parajista at the Temple of Oma, with the ability to see through wards. Son of Finahin Humey Garika, Tadisa Sinhasa Garika, and Madinoh Ladisi Badu. Brother of Chali Finahin Badu.
