Dear Readers,

Well, here we are once again with spring knocking on the door. Isn’t it lovely to see the gardens start to come back to life again? I hope you all had a warm, healthy winter. The end of the year was really busy and eventful for me. It began with the birth of our lovely new baby granddaughter back in September. She weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 4ozs and her name is Poppy Victoria. She has lots of lovely dark hair and blue eyes and needless to say she has me wrapped around her little finger, already. She is absolutely gorgeous, but then perhaps I am a little biased!

The next event early in October was our daughter’s wedding. Sarah made a lovely bride and it was such a beautiful day. On the eve of the wedding the bride and bridesmaids all came to stay at my house and we had such fun! Then the next morning the hairdresser arrived at eight o’clock in the morning and it was organised chaos, but in the nicest possible way. The rest of the day passed in a blur, then, but we couldn’t have hoped for it to be any better.
